By Sports Car Illustrated.com
Lee Iacocca is back with Ford, well at least long enough to sell forty-five special edition 2009 Mustangs.
To celebrate the Mustang's first appearance at the 1964 New York World's Fair, the father of the Mustang, Lee Iacocca, has lent his name to a special editon 2009 Mustang dubbed with the original sounding name of "The Iacocca Silver Edition Mustang."
The Iacocca Mustang was designed by Michael Leone and Gaffogilio Metalcrafters and will be available through Galpin Ford of North Hills, California.
Available in silver only the Iacocca Mustang has a much cleaner and more muscular fastback look than its stock brother.
Powered by either a stock 4.6 liter 320hp V8 or an optional 400hp supercharged version both engines come with a full Ford factory warranty. The interior is equipped with special leather stitching, a dash plaque with the Iacocca signature and serial number.
